Boulder Chamber: Wine tasting for all tastes from Pettyjohn!
28 October 2021
Sometimes we taste a certain grape, sometimes we taste a region, but this week we are going
have something for everyone! Try a little of this and a little of that – who knows, you might like a wine you’ve never heard of or appreciate a varietal you thought you’d never dare to appreciate. Put on your adventurous (maybe vegan) coat and join us at Pettyjohn’s tonight
from 5 to 7 and find something new for your wine rack!
Aromas of raspberries, cherries and some secondary hints of minerality. A lively foam, but fine on the palate, with subtle flavors of small red fruits enhanced by lively acidity. Lively, but delicate on the
on the palate, bursting with flavors of freshly crushed berries and hints of oyster shell.
Yellow with silvery reflections. Nose of white flowers and lemon. A refreshing and tangy palate with notes of citrus and white pepper with a salty and iodine finish. While the Costières de Nîmes produce 5 to 7% of the appellation in white, the Château Beaubois produces 20%. Close to the beach … brings great freshness and a lot of iodine to the wines.
To taste with: Aperitif, fish, shellfish, vegetables and cheeses.
Exhales vibrant aromas of black cherry, ripe cassis, fresh herbs and lightly roasted coffee. Soft tannins and balanced acidity support the base flavors of blackberry, black cherry and chocolate, interwoven with spicy black pepper accents on the finish. This wine can be tasted on
on its own or with a roasted pork loin with herbs, baked chicken or grilled steak and sautéed mushrooms.
Girasole Cabernet Sauvignon Organic vegan
Mendocino, CA- Deep ruby color. A full-bodied wine with complex and deep aromas of cassis, cassis and black plum. The sweet toasted oak flavors of caramel, toffee and toasted nuts frame the fruit and spice ensemble perfectly. Organic farming.
