Deb and Jim Harris of Uncorked Okanagan Wine Tours were shocked and then delighted after they recently opened an email from Tripadvisor to find that their company had received the 2021 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award for travel experiences.
The Travelers’ Choice Awards recognize companies that consistently deliver fantastic experiences to travelers and earn great reviews from their customers over the past 12 months.
Uncorked Okanagan Wine Tours, based in West Kelowna, has been ranked in the top 10 percent of all travel experiences in the world.
Deb admits it’s been a tough year keeping guests safe, maintaining cleanliness standards, social distancing, and most recently wildfires and smoke.
While most of their guests are tourists from other parts of Canada, Deb said now is the perfect time for local residents to take a visit to one of the best wine regions in the world.
“Instead of leading one or two of your guests and friends, we can safely take you to some of the Okanagan’s best and most unique wineries,” she said.
Uncorked takes care of the tasting room reservations, driving and all the little details of the tour so their guests get the full experience.
