Each year the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) publishes a list of the best beer pubs and the 2023 guide includes the Old Ship Inn, Packhorse, Prior John and Three B’s Micropub.

The 2023 guide features the top 4,500 pubs across Britain and features full details of over 1,800 breweries.

Entries are selected by CAMRA members who monitor pubs selling real ale in their area and vote on the best ones for inclusion in the guide.

Hull and East Yorkshire CAMRA has an allocation of 27 entries, which this year features old favourites, new entries and some making a welcome return.

Yorkshire Regional Manager Kevin Keaveny said: “I congratulate all the publicans who have made it into the Good Beer Guide 2023.

“After three years of significant lobbying in the hospitality industry, those who have retained their place, along with new and returning pubs, demonstrate that serving quality real ale year-round is valued by our members.”

A CAMRA spokesperson, referring to Three B’s Micropub, said: “A ‘real’ Micropub, run by enthusiastic CAMRA members, Three B’s Micropub sells a range of four real ales as well as ciders and gins and wines.

“The pub has recently introduced a draft beer as well as a pie and pea option which is available all day every day.”
