Movements at MESHA
Andre MannixExecutive Managing Director of Mission Solutions at Nova Systems, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors of Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA).
Mannix has held numerous leadership positions in defense and engineering with over 15 years as Managing Director at BAE Systems, Liebherr-Australia, Leidos and Naval Group.
He was appointed to the board of MESHA in 2017.
Metropolitan Fire Department CEO Michael Morgan was named Vice President of MESHA to fill the position vacated by Mannix.
Appointments come later Brigadier Alison Creagh AM stepped down from the leadership of the MESHA Board of Directors after almost eight years. She was recently appointed to the board of Paralympics Australia.
Senior Systems Manager BAE adam watson joined the MESHA Board of Directors in his place.
A former Australian Army officer, Watson has worked at BAE Systems since 2009 in a number of senior roles, including Industrialization Manager, Campaign Manager and Business Development Manager.
He is currently director of BAE Systems’ research and development center, Red Ocher Labs.
Watson’s appointment to MESHA, a subsidiary of the Hospital Research Foundation Group, complements his role as chairman of the Defense Teaming Center.
Foundation CEO Paul Flynn said Watson’s appointment would bring additional depth to MESHA’s board.
“We are delighted that Adam has agreed to join the advisory board given his deep understanding of military life and his keen interest in the health and well-being of veterans around the world as well as those who continue to serve. serve,” he said in a statement.
“His vast knowledge and expertise will be a valuable addition to the team.”
Watson was a commissioned officer in the Australian Army from 1993 to 2007 and was awarded two Meritorious Service Medals for his service in the United States and in Iraq.
