Elizabeth Banks partners with Archer Roose, the leading canned wine company
Founded in 2014 by Marian Leitner-Waldman and David Waldman, partners in life and in business, Archer Roose was built on shared passions and values: lively conversations, craftsmanship and the conviction that we must all do our part to build a better world. Since its inception, the brand has pushed the boundaries of the wine industry by creating world-class wines in formats suitable for a modern lifestyle.
“We are delighted to have Elizabeth banks join us as we move into the next chapter in Archer Roose’s story, ”said Marian Leitner-Waldman, co-founder and CEO of Archer Roose. “Archer Roose was founded on genuine relationships and pride in craftsmanship. Elizabeth embodies both of these values and we are honored to have her as a new partner and all that she brings to the table: creativity, new perspectives and a shared mission to shape the world for the better. “
“As I got to know Marian, I realized that she and I shared a philosophy. She created something that resonated with me and what I enjoy, namely conversation, connection, craftsmanship and quality, “said Elizabeth banks.
As a new major investor and owner of the company, Elizabeth banks will bring strategic value to the creative development of the company, both on the brand and product side.
“For me, wine is another form of storytelling,” Banks explained. “I have always loved wine but I wanted to make it more accessible and build a brand that would resonate with women. When I realized that Marian’s bet was to put really good wine in cans, I thought to my own life and all the amazing moments shared with family and friends – a day at the beach, a ski trip – and how great it would be to take a Sauvignon Blanc out of a cooler for a change. ”
“Elizabeth’s commitment and authenticity, coupled with the strength of Archer Roose’s management team, make this a particularly compelling partnership,” added Jake Solomon of United Talent Agency (UTA), an executive at the United Talent Agency (UTA). the company’s Ventures department, which negotiated the deal on behalf of Elizabeth banks. “The alternative format wine category is a young and growing market and we believe that brands like Archer Roose have a unique opportunity to help define this category. “
Archer Roose and Elizabeth Banks will bring their new relationship to life through a series of videos on how the partnership started and how it progressed, which will be launched at the end of May 2021 on Archer Roose social media and the brand’s website.
