For Decisions Wine Company in Greenville in June

A new option for adult drinks is coming to the Fox Cities.

Pour Decisions Wine Company will open in mid-June, according to owner Troy Reissmann. Described as an upscale wine bar that will also serve other cocktails and charcuterie boards, Pour Decisions will take over the former Third Base Bar & Grill space at W7003 Parkview Dr. in Greenville.

Reissmann and his wife Lisa also own the Shinery Moonshine Company at 5120 W. Michaels Dr. in Grand Chute. The Shinery specializes primarily in moonlight and whiskey, but the Reissmanns also have their own brand of wine. The wine became popular enough that the Reissmanns pursued a dedicated wine bar.

“People kept saying, since we sell a ton of (wine), that you should probably think about starting a wine bar,” Troy told The Post-Crescent. “It just seemed like you knew what, let’s try it. Greenville has no such thing, and my brother owns the property there, so there was an opening and we took it.

Pour Decisions will feature the Shinery brand of wine, but will also bring a variety of wines from around the world, Troy said. The bar will start with a given number of reds, whites and blends and will continue to add wine to their menu over time, and eventually transition to wine on tap. For Decisions will feature local Wisconsin wine, Troy said, including a seasonal mead or honey wine, which will be made outside of Omro.

In addition to wine, Pour Decisions will feature cocktails, primarily Shinery signature Boon Dog whiskey, as well as craft beer. Other than charcuterie boards, Pour Décisions will not serve food products.

Customers will be able to view the wines featured at Pour Décisions for a given week through the What’s Pouring section of their website. Once the bar is installed, Pour Décisions will offer a wine club, with benefits such as receiving a bottle of wine each month. There will be clubs dedicated to red, white and blended wine depending on the customer’s taste, Troy said.

The wine bar is another business enterprise for the Reissmanns. In addition to Grand Chute, they operate two other Shinery sites in Cedarburg and Green Bay. They also own Valley Organics Inc., a lawn care company serving northeastern Wisconsin.
