Mayson’s Wine Shop will host an exclusive wine tasting | West Orange Times & Observer

A local wine store is hosting an exclusive wine tasting this week.

Mayson’s Wine Shop, which we first told you about here, opened on November 22 and is already attracting locals with its extensive wine collection and tasting bar.

The Ocoee veteran-owned company offers more than 500 different wines and said it has received several requests for expert wine tasting lessons.

Sommelier Deanna Key will pass on her wine knowledge and teach attendees about California’s IL Cuore wine cellars while guests sample charcuterie.

“Il Cuore,” which means “the heart” in Italian, pays homage to early Italian immigrants who planted vineyards in Mendocino County, located along the northern California coast.

The event has limited time slots and is scheduled to take place from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26.

Tickets are only $15 for wine club members and $20 for non-members.

Those wishing to RSVP can call the store at (407) 347-3665, email [email protected], or come to the store at 2222 Ocoee Apopka Road.
