Oswego Elks Wine Tasting to Be Held October 16 | Arts and entertainment


OSWEGO – Oswego Elks Lodge -271 will host drink tasting to benefit two of Oswego County’s largest non-profit organizations; Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) PATH Transitional Living and Peaceful Remedies Program.

The Oswego Elks Beverage Tasting event will feature a fine selection of beers from C’s Farm Market; wines from Colloca Estate Winery, Fox Run Vineyards and Lakeland Winery; and spirits from Lock 1 Distilling Company.

Tastings will be offered in three seats; 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Each seat features live music and a chance to win a bottle of wine. There will be tickets available for purchase for a chance to win a variety of prizes. The draws for the prizes will take place starting at 9:15 pm. Profits from the draws will benefit many Elks charities.

OCO’s PATH program, a transitional living program for homeless youth aged 16 to 21, provides the opportunity to learn independent living skills, achieve educational goals and become a responsible member from the community. The PATH program has been providing services to youth since 1991.

Founded in 2015, Peaceful Remedies is dedicated to enhancing the healing experience for those affected by life-changing illnesses by providing holistic options for therapy and support to people in a safe and peaceful environment. Through its events and programs, Peaceful Remedies provides support services that complement treatments, support caregivers, patients and their families.
