Theodore Gibson

May 4 – Paso Robles, CA –Theodore “Ted” Gibson, former California sales manager for Tooth & Nail Wine Company in Paso Robles, has been promoted to national sales manager. When he first joined Tooth & Nail Wine Company in 2017, he was responsible for overseeing sales in the Southern California market and quickly rose through the ranks, often exceeding revenue goals. Gibson again distinguished itself in 2020, a pandemic year, by exceeding its sales targets across multiple sales channels.

A former graduate (environmental studies) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Gibson also earned his WSET Level II certification with distinction. Under his responsibility are four brands in the Tooth & Nail Wine Company portfolio; Amor Fati, Stasis, Tooth & Nail Audubon Series and the highly anticipated “Squad” line, which will be released nationwide later this spring.

“I am delighted to grow the Tooth & Nail Wine Co. brands with our national distribution network. We have some of the best channel partners to help grow these progressive and innovative brands across the country,” says Gibson. “There aren’t many wine companies that think and operate like Tooth & Nail in a creative sense,” he continues. “It was an honor to work for a company that thinks differently and defies convention.”

Defying convention is nothing new for Rob Murray, owner of Tooth & Nail Wine Company. Murray, known for his rebellious choices and progressive, creative branding, was the first winemaker in the country to use augmented reality technology in wine labeling, injecting a sense of movement and play into a bottle of stationary wine. This inventive technology, coupled with Murray’s incorporation of over 400 types of cryptocurrencies as means of payment, has earned Tooth & Nail Wine Company recognition as one of the most advanced and successful wine companies. radicals in the country. Tooth & Nail dedicates a percentage of profits to “1% For The Planet,” joining companies like Patagonia, Boxed Water and Honest Tea in donating to approved environmental nonprofits.
