USA Today names Cottonwood Wine Tours of San Antonio one of the 10 best wine tours in the country
San Antonio-based Cottonwood Wine Tours took 10th place on United States of today recent overview of the best wine tours in the country.
Owned and operated by husband and wife team Matthew and Brandy Garcia, the company has completed a USA Today 10Best list of top wine-focused travel providers. The newspaper based the list on the quality of transportation, guides, and other sightseeing amenities.
“Cottonwood Wine Tours, headquartered in San Antonio, offers group tours to wineries and wineries in the Texas Hill Country,” the ranking says. âA wide variety of tour options are available, ranging in length from three to eight hours, with tours of several wineries and towns such as Fredericksburg and Comfort. All tours include snacks, tasting fees, and a knowledgeable guide.
According to the Cottonwood Wine Tours website, the Texas wine industry has evolved dramatically over the past decade, quickly becoming the second most visited wine region in the United States.
The sustainability-focused Cottonwood strives to use renewable and alternative fuels to reduce carbon emissions. It was the only Texas outfit included on the list.
