Sumsation, a West Chester-based company that acts as a wine experience platform, has announced the launch of an e-commerce website that will allow independent wineries to sell products in the United States and Argentina, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Founded in April 2021, Sommsation offers people a virtual wine tasting experience. Through the digital marketing site, its winery partners and consumers now have an accessible resource to connect with.

“As soon as we started doing virtual wine tastings, we immediately knew we needed the market, because the number one question is, ‘This is amazing. Where can I buy it ? said CEO Danielle Diliberti.

Sommsation now has 25 partner sommeliers who can extend their reach to wine lovers beyond their tasting rooms. Products on the site include virtual 90-minute bottles of wine and wine tastings led by a sommelier and a flight of three bottles of wine.

“We hope to be one of the leading e-commerce sites for wine and wine experiences by the end of this year,” Diliberti said.
