Georges on Waymouth serves a winter specialty of homemade pan-fried Daylesford black truffle gnocchi as part of their seasonal menu. They source their truffles from a farm in Daylesford, Victoria, called Truffle Treasures, which is owned by two South Australian women.

The Eleven Restaurant on Waymouth Street is hosting a special Truffles and Red Wine Night through the Adelaide Hills on Wednesday 20 July from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Hosted by restaurant co-owners Themis Chryssidis and Callum Hann, the evening will also feature special guest Marco “The Mushroom Man” Marinelli. The exclusive menu offers a tantalizing range of truffle-inspired dishes on their modern Australian cuisine with a French twist. Look for their truffle ice cream with porcini mushrooms – yes, truffle ice cream!

Farina00 offers the Gigli, made with Swiss brown mushrooms, truffle, thyme, cream and 24-month aged parmigiana reggiano – definitely a crowd favorite and has been on their menu since day one. The tailor Touring Co.

The folks at Tailor Touring Co. launched their Gourmet Truffle Hunting Experiencegiving South Australians the opportunity to be accompanied by truffle experts in collaboration with SA’s top food and wine producers in the Fleurieu Peninsula, including Lovely Valley Truffles.

With just two departure dates Friday July 22, 2022 and Friday August 5, 2022, this exclusive experience delves into The Currant Sheds’ specially curated menu of all things truffle, so expect to see truffle butter , truffle shavings, truffle honey and truffle Hollandaise sauce with each dish. Finally the local character Geddes Wines will guide you through a wine tasting.

A King William Road favourite, Nido has released a new truffle-inspired gnocchi dish that plays on his modern twist on traditional Italian cuisine. The doughy buckwheat pasta is tossed in a burnt butter sauce, melted in the sweetness of fontina DOP cheese and of course, topped with Australian sourced Manjimup truffle shavings.
